Frank discussion of civic topics is the mark of democracy, and the City Club of Denver was established in 1922 to create a forum in which citizens could discuss local issues from any political position. The organization, thus, does not advocate any particular position. Rather, we believe that our function is to provide information from a variety of vantage points. From September through May we organize dozens of public affair programs at Brown Palace Hotel. Each Tuesday we hold a luncheon that features guest speakers from every field of civic endeavor, including science, politics, journalism, sports, and rival political candidates. Debate is lively, so be sure to get there early.
