- Mt. Hood Hamlet B&B is a comfortable, colonial style lodging establishment in the Community of Mt. Hood, Oregon, 15 miles south of Hood River in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. Built and opened in 1996, we offer 4 guest rooms with private baths, king or queen beds and fireplaces. With our excellent view of Mt. Hood, we are centrally located for sightseeing, skiing, biking, hiking and other outdoor sports. Many guests come for a romantic getaway, to taste our local wines or world-class cuisine, pick some local fruit or attend a friend's wedding. A young cherry orchard occupies half of our nine acre farm site, and we use mostly Oregon products in our breakfasts.
