| Description: | The Outpost Drive In is a seasonal family owned restaurant open April through October. We offer sandwiches, broasted chicken, hand pattied burgers, and a full selection of ice cream treats from the ever favorite banana split to the Outpost's only Snowstorm. We are open 7 days a week with plenty of parking and easy access from US Hwy 75. We are located on the east edge of Ada on the way to the lakes, Shooting Star Casino or the many wonderful places to visit in western Minnesota and eastern North Dakota. We are open from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm daily. You can select inside seating or call us for an order to go. The Outpost Drive In has a been a long tradition in the Ada area having started as a traditional Drive In restaurant in the 60s. The Gallagher family purchased the business in 2005 and has made several improvements to make your stop enjoyable. From the quality of our food to the friendly hometown service you will find us eager to make your stay enjoyable. We offer local papers and magazines to scan while you sip a soda or have one of Mary's wonderful sundaes. You can play our peg game or the kids can play the crane game or pinball while your enjoy our golden fried chicken, homemade coleslaw or Joe's every favorite quarter pound burgers.
