WE have been a Family owned business for 32+ years, 24 of which have been based in Charlton.It all started in 1978 when my father, mother, two brothers and my sister moved to texas, after being persuaded by my uncle who was already there, in the middle of the boom in the late seventy's. Begging my father to Quit his job at Smith & Wesson and come and join him in Dallas Texas, to make their fortunes. Well, I guess all the pleading from my uncle worked, Because my Father came home one day and he and my mother put the house up for sale and we all moved to a suberb of Dallas called Lancaster. The patnership with my uncle never materialized for some reason, So my father loaded up our 1967 Plymouth station wagon with tools and went to work as a trim carpenter and punch out man for the U.S. Home Corperation as a sub contractor and that's how we came to be known as Ciani Construction. He returned to Charlton in 1986, when the Texas economy went from good to bad and to help his mother with his ailing step Father.
On returning to Charlton, my father took up where he left off and I joined him in 1989, when I returned from the Navy
From that time foward, we have been a Remodeling Company. Specializing in Kitchen & Bath Remodeling. We also do roofs, finished basements, doors, windows. vinyl siding and we also do "Honey-do Lists", and much more.
