Dr Carter currently works in private practice in Tigard, Oregon (part of the Portland area). Although she gladly provide general psychological counseling services for individuals, couples, and families as well as provide psychological testing. She specializes in care of individuals and families challenged the psychological consequences of chronic medical illnesses. Illnesses she has experience with include, but are not limited to chronic pain, Fibromyalgia, complex regional pain syndrome, headaches, MS, memory problems, head injuries, obesity, sleep problems, hearing impairments, cardiac and pulmonary problems, Autism, Asperger's, ADHD, NVLD and other health related issues.
