- Begun in 2004, Lowcountry Gourmet Foods specializes in hand-bottled Extra-Virgin Olive Oils and Aged Balsamic Vinegars. At our tasting room, located in the heart of the historic district of Savannah, you may try all of our hand-bottled products before purchase. We have 8 varietal Extra Virgin Olive Oils where each varietal Extra Virgin Olive Oil uses only a single variety of olive in making that oil. Each variety of olive has its own flavor profile and each of our varietal Extra Virgin Olive Oils is unique and distinct from each other. Our most popular varietal Extra Virgin Olive Oils are the Hojiblanca (Spanish), Coratina (Italian), and Phoenician (Tunisia). The varietal Extra Virgin Olive Oils are $13.99 per bottle. We also have 8 flavored Extra Virgin Olive Oils. 3 of these are whole fruit Extra Virgin Olive Oils. Our whole fruit Extra Virgin Olive Oils are made with Meyer Lemons, Blood Oranges, and Persian Limes. The fruit is actually crushed with the olives at the time of pressing so that these Extra Virgin Olive Oils have the essential oils from the fruits and therefore have an intense citrus flavor. We also have 5 infused Extra Virgin Olive Oils including Basil, Garlic, Tuscan Herb, Herbs de Provence, and Chipotle. All of flavored Extra Virgin Olive Oils make great salad and finishing oils. We have 13 dark Aged Balsamic Vinegars including our top selling Traditional Aged Balsamic Vinegar. With the exception of our Dark Chocolate Aged Balsamic Vinegar the rest of our dark Aged Balsamic Vinegars are naturally flavored with fruits such a Strawberry, Pomegranate, Fig, Black Cherry, and Raspberry. All of our dark Aged Balsamic Vinegars are wonderful on salads, fruits, vegetable, meats, and even ice cream. We also have 5 white Aged Balsamic Vinegars including our Premium White, Summer Peach, Golden Pineapple, Sicilian Lemon, and Honey Ginger. The white Aged Balsamic Vinegars are great on salads, fruits, and vegetables.
