Petra Pottery is a teaching studio located in downtown Troy, OH.
Jana Glass is the owner and has taught pottery to artists of all ages since 1988. She teaches all techniques of working with clay including the pottery wheel, slab rolling, coiling, extruding, pinching, combining pieces, glazing and firing. Classes are held year round...see website for current schedule. She has helped many potters establish their own studios, teaches glaze making, kiln loading and firing. Jana is a member of the Potter's Council, Clay Alliance, Troy Arts Alliance, Dayton Visual Arts Council, and Troy Country Workshop Artists. Directions: from I-75 take exit 73, SR 55, east into Troy which becomes Market St. The Troy Post Office in on the right side at Race St. and E. Canal St is one block north. Turn right to 12 E. Canal.
