I. TOTAL OUTSOURCED PRACTICE MANAGEMENT
Neva offers a total practice management suite of services including the placement of a full-time on-site administrator, accounts receivable/business office functions, accounting/financial services, human resource/benefits administration functions, information systems and planning and hardware/software strategic support. We offer an option to employ the local staff which allows for streamlined HR management and benefits cost savings. We either offer directly or have partnered with “best in class” national resources to provide this truly unique and comprehensive service. It’s the only service of its kind dedicated uniquely to medical practices.
II. OUTSOURCED EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT
The governance, strategic, regulatory, financial, staffing, and operational complexities facing the modern American medical practice are greater now than ever. We provide Executive Director level services to the medical practice through a “Management Services Agreement.” A Neva employed Executive Director/Administrator is recruited and hired in partnership with the local practice, and lives in the local community. The local Administrator assumes responsibility for all of the administrative functions of the practice. The local Administrator is accountable to the local medical practice Board of Directors/physician(s) and Neva. The Administrator is offered full support and training by Neva, and is charged with bringing the full resources of Neva to bear on behalf of the practice. Neva practice management services include regular visits by Neva Corporate Officers, as well as full-time local Executive Director/Administrator support.
III. INTERIM PRACTICE MANAGEMENT
Neva Interim Management provides temporary placement of an administrator to serve the practice for a minimum of three months, while a permanent administrator is being recruited. As part of this service, we provide recruitment assistance, create an “Interim Business Plan,” and provide maintenance/enhancement of all administrative functions.
IV. MENTORING AND COACHING
Through extensive mentoring and coaching, Neva provides experienced support for the new practice administrator. Structured as a 24-month program, a senior-level, highly-experienced Neva resource is available for weekly calls, webinars, and monthly on-site visits. The program includes development and implementation of a business plan dealing with the governance, finance, operations, IT and human resources aspects of the practice. It also includes the development of a sound budget and a competitive market assessment. Through this program, success for both the administrator and the practice is enhanced.
V. PRACTICE MANAGER RECRUITING
Annual turnover for medical practice managers/administrators is estimated to be 20-25%.
