At the age of 16, Cathy purchased her own Cockapoo to train as a therapy dog, and realized the importance of regular grooming. "It's hard to find someone you trust to groom your pet, and in my case if you learn they are difficult or badly behaved it can complicate things or even make grooming dangerous." In 2001, I began learning about the process and business of bathing & grooming pets. In 2003 I graduated High School and became a Certified Professional Dog & Cat Groomer. In 2004, I entered two well-known competitions in the grooming industry, and won 1st place in the Oster Career Start and 2nd place in the NEPGP 2004 Fall Festival, Division B Mixed & Miscellaneous Class. I have experience working at 3 reputable, fast paced salons over the past 7 years. Mobile grooming is something I have wanted to do since I began grooming full time, and now that I am in California that dream is coming true. I love my job!
