- The Bluegrass Farmers' Market is a group of local farmers and producers who believe that customers deserve only the freshest, the best and grown or produced by the farmer selling the product! We do not allow anyone to buy products to sell. We are a seasonal market opening in late April and running through October of each year. So that means that you will find lettuce, asparagus, peas, strawberries and green onions in the spring. Come summer you'll find beans, squash, tomatoes, melons and so much more. In the fall we'll have potatoes, yams, cabbage, peppers, pumpkins, melons, onions and more. Our member producers bring quality items all season, including baked goods, jams, jellies, herb seasoning, homemade soaps, cheese, eggs, beef, honey, plants and so much more. Everything is made by the member! You can find us in the parking lot of Fast Signs and Pedal the Planet on Richmond Rd. We have plenty of free parking right at the market. We love to see the children and pets...dog biscuits provided. Our parking lot is flat so strollers and wheelchairs are no problem. We think one visit to our market will change where you shop each week. And, you'll know that you are helping to keeps local farms alive!
