- K Space Contemporary is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and presenting contemporary art to the Texas coastal bend area. Located in Downtown Corpus Christi, our hours are W-Sat, 11-5pm. We specialize in sales of contemporary art to the public by independent studio artists who do not work in art production facilities (sweat shops). All works are one of a kind and priced accordingly. Come enjoy K Space and see what we are all about! Free Events- K Space hosts free art openings at the beginning of each exhibition, see website for details. K Space is a participant in the Corpus Christi Downtown ArtWalk, offering evening hours and free live music. We also occasionally have free artist talks and independent film viewings at the gallery. Artist Studios- Our third floor facility, K Space Art Studios, was founded in 1995 by a cooperative of contemporary artists.
