- I was born and raised by deaf grandparents on a farm near Penelope Texas. I spent my entire life as an avid advocate for the deaf and hard of hearing. In 1970 I was invited to enter the hearing aid profession in San Antonio Texas. So started a life-fulling career in helping people to see their dreams come true with better hearing. It has an exciting career for me. What joy's I have experienced as I fit hearing aids on those who did not know how good it is to hear. Now I am retired hearing aid business and dispenser business owner. I still work with the deaf and hard of hearing doing volunteer work at the Deaf Center. If you use a hearing aid or cochlear implant we have an internet site where you can order batteries for these.
