- The Copper Lantern Motor Lodge offers guests clean & comfortable motel rooms at reasonable rates in a pleasant pastoral setting in a quaint New England town. Our rooms are all NON-SMOKING and have access to FREE wireless internet and FREE local telephone calls. All rooms have microwave ovens and small refrigerators; efficiency units also have kitchenettes. Daily housekeeping is provided. Nightly and weekly rates are available and we are open all year. The Copper Lantern Motor Lodge rests on 7.2 acres along the Quaboag River. We are "dog-friendly", so bring your well-behaved dog and take her for a long walk. We have twenty-four rooms, so reservations are strongly recommended. Please don't drive out to see us only to find that there's "no room at the inn". We are just minutes away from the award-winning historic Salem Cross Inn restaurant. Be sure to sample their colonial atmosphere and savory cooking while you're visiting West Brookfield. The meal alone is worth the trip! Our guests appreciate the peace and quiet our community and our motel affords them. We seek to protect this by not renting to anyone after 11:00pm unless they have a pre-paid reservation. Also, we require government-issued photo I.D., such as a passport, driver's license, or state I.D. card. We will not rent to anyone under age 21. The Copper Lantern Motor Lodge was built in 1963 by Herb & Edna Leland and is currently owned by their son Edward Leland. His daughter Jessica is the live-in manager. We accept cash, Visa, American Express cards and Travellers Cheques, MasterCard and Discover. Sorry, but we cannot process personal or business checks.
