- Alvina's Tailor Shop is a business that has been growing since 1996. We are Family owned and operated and we have over 40 years of experience. Alvina has professional experience in mens tailoring that she obtained from working for 12 years at Frost Brothers Fine Department store. HEre she worked on some of the most expensive hand made Italian Suits.Our womens tailoring was obtained over a long period of time working on formals, bridal and even creating a few one of a kind dresses. We no longer make clothes but we can alter almost anything to get the perfect fit.. We tailor mens and womens business and formal attire. We also tailor and alter children's clothing. If you call around most alteration shops do not work on childrens formal or casual wear. We do not discriminate. Our business is very family oriented and have no problem with children being around.We are under contract with Tommy Bahama at La Cantera, and Delta/ Northwest airlines.
