The diner was originally started by two sister Patricia Baker and Charlotte Chandler. The diner is now owned and operated by Buddy and Patrica Baker of Garrison, TX. Named after Lamar Jones(Rooster) who is the Father of Patricia and Charlotte. You will always find Paw and Granny helping out along with other family members that happen to be on hand. Some say, nobody cooks a pot of dumplings like Granny,and pinto beans and homemade cornbread to die for. Come on in and see us. You'll enter as a stranger but you will leave us as a friend!
Open Tuesday-Friday 8AM to 8PM and Sat-Sun 11-3PM.
Every Friday night is always an "all can eat" catfish night!
