On the Boulevard is a business association located along S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd in Lansing, from Interstate 96 to Interstate 496.
Our goal is to redevelop this corridor on the South Side, through working with local government, community organizations, and business owners.
Ultimately, our objective is to increase customer traffic and business investment in the corridor. To do this, we need to create a sense of community pride in the area.
We plan events and programs throughout the year, including the annual Barbeque on the Boulevard festival and a VIP Card discount program at our member businesses for area residents.
To help out the community, we have established a neighborhood watch group to help raise awareness of crimes along the corridor. In addition, we have conducted food drives and other donation programs to assist the residents of South Lansing.
In the past, M-99 in Lansing was a thriving business corridor, and our aim is to make it bustling once again.
