  • Nestled in the cozy Elizabeth neighborhood outside of Uptown Charlotte, La-tea-das started in the early 1990s as a place to mingle while shopping for Antiques and enjoying a cup of Tea or Coffee. It quickly grew into a bustling café and a favorite location for Showers and Tea Parties. Before long we were catering for on and off premise special events. Word of mouth spread quickly and La-tea-das menus and events eventually outgrew its tiny café kitchen and moved operations to the heart of Center City in May of 2006. Our new location also houses a facility for on premise catering for up to 300.
