HEALTHCARE REFORM HAS COME TO WAXAHACHIE!
Country Doc's Minor Medical Clinic provides urgent and primary care to all ages. Our goal is to provide affordable, quality, timely, efficient and compassionate medical care to everyone. We do not accept insurance or file Medicare or Medicaid. We will however, give you an itemized statement for you to file your own insurance if desired. We can take care of you for 1/2 to 1/3 of less than any other healthcare provider. Basic exam fees are $39-$49. More complex exams are $59. We provide school and work physicals, flu shots and other immunizations. Lab, procedural and medication fees are set low enough to pass on the savings to you. Payment is accepted in cash or by credit or debit card.
Dr Phillips has over 29 years of experience in emergency medicine and has been providing primary care in Lancaster, Texas since 2007. Our clinic is equipped to manage acute and chronic illness, urgent conditions and minor injuries.You will be treated with care and concern and will never wait needelessly. You should have a choice in the type of care and treatments you receive. Your condition will be adequately explained to you and you will have the opportunity to ask questions and make informed choices. Needless tests will never be recommended.
We can make an appointment for you or we will gladly welcome you as a walk-in patient. Our hours are 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday hours and we are open on holidays except for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We are conveniently located on South Grand Avenue across from Renfro Nursing Home and next door to Subway. Baylor Medical Center at Waxahachie is just around the corner on Jefferson Street and The Prescription Shop is just across the street. Additional parking is located in the rear of the building and can be accessed from the alley next to Subway. The Google map directions on this site are incorrect. To reach us from I 35 south, take the Brookside Rd exit and turn left on Brookside Rd. At the stop sign, turn right on business 287 (Main St). At the next stop light, turn right on South Grand. Country Doc's is on the left just behind the convenience store. If coming from the East, come into Waxahachie on Business 287. Drive through downtown and west to Grand Ave. Turn left at the light on South Grand. From Highway 77 and Hwy 287, go South on 77. Turn right at the light at Sycamore St (Walgreen's). Go west on Sycamore to Grand Ave. Turn left on Grand Ave. Go through the light at Grand and Main (Bus. 287) and the clinic is on the left.
