- Assisting children and families in Southwest Missouri cope with grief. Lost and Found helps through support groups, education and events. Lost and Found is located at 1006 North Cedarbrook in Northeast Springfield. We are open five days a week from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Lost and Found was established in January of 2001. Please call Lost and Found with any questions you make have. Our primary focus is children but many of our volunteers are adults that lost a parent at an ealier age. Lost & Found could not operate our programs without our dedicated volunteers. In addition, unlike most social service agencies, we receive no support from federal, state or local governments, no insurance reimbursement or third party payments, and we do not charge fees. Families contribute as they are able, but no child is ever turned away. Our program is completely reliant on contributions. The 2010 EVENING OF HOPE will be January 30 at Hickory Hills Country Club.
