- SOME THINGS YOU MIGHT LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT ME I have developed a successful real estate practice by providing “hands-on” assistance to my clients as they prepare to buy or sell their home. I have learned that clients often need substantial help in managing their projects and I have developed a “turn-key” approach to assume the total management responsibility. I have developed a network of service providers who I can enlist to take care of all of the problems associated with buying a home or getting a property ready for market - from inspections, repairs, painting, and cleanup to major upgrades such as new driveways, decks, roofs, and landscaping. I assume the majority of the burden of preparing your home so that you can enjoy your new purchase or realize the best possible price with a minimum of stress. In partnership with my husband Rich who focuses on mid-peninsula markets, I have focused my client activities on Los Gatos, Saratoga, Monte Sereno, Cupertino and other southern peninsula markets. REAL ESTATE SALES RESULTS By properly Positioning, Preparing, Pricing, and Promoting properties, my “turnkey” approach to real estate has allowed me to become a top producer in the Los Gatos-Saratoga-Monte Sereno-Cupertino market resulting in more than $300,000,000 in sales while successfully completing transactions since 1993. EDUCATION • Earned a BA in Behavioral Science from San Jose State University. • I have benefited immensely from the in-depth training received as a graduate of Alain Pinel's elite Real Estate Master's Program. • I have completed all of the courses allowing me to receive and renew my California Real Estate Agent license (Business Law, Finance I and II, Accounting I and II, Real Estate Principles, Real Estate Practice, Real Estate Appraisal, Real Estate Law, and innumerable continuing education courses required to keep current in Real Estate). He has followed me into real estate and is now an agent with Alain Pinel in Los Gatos working as my partner. During our early family years I was very active in community organizations including Eastfield Ming Quong, the Butter Paddle, various women’s support organizations, and Saratoga school activities. Our older daughter, Kim, is a graduate of Santa Clara University and works as a medial writer in the Biotech Industry. Staci – our younger daughter – who recently married, is a graduate of the University of San Diego and the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco and currently works as a designer at Beyer Fashions in San Francisco. When the entire Italian-American family gathers for holidays there are usually 14+ of us sharing laughs and good cheer including grandparents, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephew, cousins, boyfriends and significant others. We are very fortunate to have most of our close family nearby - having followed us out West from New Jersey. INTERESTS AND ACTIVITIES I try to maintain a diverse set of passions. Currently high on my list are: • Golf • Reading • Hiking - have done the Grand Canyon and Half Dome • Exercise – work out regularly at Los Gatos Athletic Club • Cats - particularly Himalayans and Maine Coons • Travel - Uganda/Rwanda to sit with the Mountain Gorillas; safari in Tanzania with the entire family; an adventure tour of Costa Rica; walking tours of Sicily and the Cotswolds; Machu Pichu and Egypt with our traveling friends. • Good wine and food WHY I AM IN REAL ESTATE There are many residential Realtors in this area - some good and some not so good. Aside from the technical aspects of this business (understanding and negotiating contracts, keeping up-to-date with real estate law/disclosures, etc.), my most important attribute is a genuine concern and caring for all of my clients; I treat people as I would want to be treated. My other strengths include excellent communications skills, first-hand understanding of the communities in which I sell, attention to detail and follow-through, and interior design and staging.
