In Italy a Trattoria is a small "no-frills" restaurant with simple dishes cooked home-style. At "Trattoria Limoncello", we prepare our foods fresh every day, we use fresh ingredients and we cook everything to order the way we would in our own home using family recipes straight from Italy where we both were born. We want our customers to feel comfortable like they are at Mom's house for a Sunday dinner. We are a family-run restaurant and our athmosphere is casual, no fancy settings, our empolyees will treat you like family. You can come in and dine on a Pizza or Calzone, or you can start with a great Antipasto like a Mozzarella Caprese, Mussels Marinara, Hot Antipasto or just a Garden Salad. You can proceed to a Pasta like a Spaghetti & MeatBalls, Gnocchi Bolognese, Lasagna, Spaghetti Carbonara, Fettuccine Alfredo or more.
Then you can go to our main entrees like Chicken, Veal, Seafood accompanied by choices of Soup or Salad and choices of Pasta or Vegetables. You can also choose a meal from our daily Specials listed on the board like Trippa or Veal Spezzatino. You then end your meal with a delicious dessert accompanied by an Espresso or Cappuccino. We will offer you a Limoncello, made in-house to help you digest.
Our portions are generous and you will see many going home with a Doggie-bag. Do not hesitate to ask for a particular dish, if we have the ingredients and we know how to make it, we can make it for you.
We are located on Rt 41 south of Punta Gorda, one mile past the Jones-Loop/Burnt Store Rd intersection, right next to the Goodwill Store.
In the summer we open from Tuesday to Saturday from 11:30am to 9pm. We offer also patio dining, weather permitting.
We also serve Beer and Wine along with Sodas and Tea.
We have a full Take-Out Menu and we can make up also trays of food for that little get-toghether at home or office.
We welcome small parties and Ladies Luncheons or Gentleman's Luncheons.
Gift Certificates are available to give as a great gift.
We accept Visa and Mastercard.
