• We are the only fully licensed American Taekwondo Association (ATA) Martial Arts School in Boulder County, Colorado, independently owned and located at 5311 Western Ave., Suite A in the city of Boulder Colorado. Our school is located at the Northwest corner of Range and Western, 1 block from Ball Industries. Our major intersection is Conestoga and Arapahoe. Taekwondo is the Korean version of Japanese Karate and ATA Taekwondo (Songahm) grew out of that basis into the powerhouse style it is now known to be throughout the world. The ATA is celebrating its 40th year in 2009 as the World's largest single style martial arts organization according to MIA magazine. ATA Boulder Family Martial Arts has been serving the Boulder Community since 2004. We specialize in teaching children, teens and adults the finest in Songahm Taekwondo, forms, sparring, self-defense and Weapons such as Bahng Mahng ee, Ssjahng Joel Bahng, Kamas and Jahng Bahng (bo staff). We teach children from 4 through 12 (Tiny Tigers and Karate 4 Kids) and adults 13 to 99 (or older if you still got it in you!). Our Tiny Tigers Program and our Karate 4 Kids program focus on important life skills such as Respect, Integrity, Honesty, Attitude and others, as well as martial arts and self-defense training and are nationally recognized for their outstanding curriculum. You and/or your children will not get better quality instruction any where else. Several of our members are state and World Champions. Our Chief Instructor is a nationally certified instructor and holds the rank of 3rd degree black belt. He is a 2006 Colorado State Champion and a Top 10 runner up in ATA's 2006 World Championships.
