- Cruise with us aboard the "Twister" from Somers Cove Marina, in Crisfield, MD to Smith Island, Md daily @ 12:30 pm starting May 23rd through October 15th. Your cruise is approx. 45 minutes each way and you spend approx. 2 1/2 hours on the island. While you are there you can enjoy fresh local seafood, visit the shops, the museum and even purchase an authentic state cake --the "Smith Island Layer Cake". We have golf cart and bike rentals as well as an ice cream shop. This cruise is on the eastern shore of Maryland in Somerset County. We also depart from the western shore of Md in Scotland, Md from the Point Lookout State Park. This cruise departs at 10 am. daily starting June 13th through August 31st. Weekend cruises before and after these dates are available. On this cruise you go to Smith Island, MD also. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR BOTH OUR CRUISES.
