- Orbit Skate Center has been providing roller skating family fun for over 30 years! Located on Consumers Avenue across from Arlington Racetrack, Orbit is part of Palatine's only sports complex. From public sessions to birthday parties, fundraising and school parties for all our local schools, Orbit Skate Center has it all. Visitors are welcome to stop by anytime and see our beautiful facility with a big snack bar, skate shop, and redemption center. Learn to skate for $2 including skates every Saturday from 12pm-1pm, stay for the session for $5 1-4pm.
