• Great Explorations School is a "private License Home Center" We specialize in "preschool" ages 1-5 years. If you are looking for an educational place to put your child, then we can help. We offer Full or part day time care. Children are able to play, discover and adventure with plenty of hands on activities. We care for no more than 12 children at a time, giving us a better opportunity to focus on your child individually and to meet their needs. We focus on phonological awareness, cognitive skills, building positive self-esteem, on-set rhyming and much more. We like to see each child as an unique individual by listening to them, understanding them and seeing how they see the world. When a child feels important and special at a young age, this helps to build life long skills. Our small staff are all educated in the Early Childhood Field. Out side time, free play, sensory, construction, reading, writing, math, role-play, science are just some of the activities that take place here at the Academy. Making new friends, learning new words, singing silly songs, variety of music, books, art, puzzles and manipulatives are some of the enjoyable things we do daily.
