Joshua Farnsworth photography has recently moved from out West and has brought with him a fresh photojournalistic style to Roanoke’s wedding market. The new style of Wedding Photography is to have your wedding photographed instead of having a photographer pose every image. We try to capture those memorable moments that make your wedding day special. We will travel to anywhere in the world for photographing your wedding. However we can quickly and conveniently cover weddings around the Roanoke Valley, New River Valley, Smith Mountain Lake, Lexington, Lynchburg, Richmond, Greensboro North Carolina, Raleigh North Carolina, Charlottesville Virginia, Washington DC, Baltimore Maryland, Arlington Virginia, and anywhere inbetween! Our Fine Art Wedding Albums will show off your wedding day like no other album. Instead of a traditional style album where all images are bordered by mats, the print is all you see, edge to edge for striking and dynamic page layouts. All page layouts are completely designed by computer, created into composites, and then printed as a single image. The composite images are then printed on archival photographic paper and permanently bound into the album. This process allows for very dramatic full page bleeds and double page spreads, as well as a thinner and more streamlined album size due to the lack of bulk from mats. In short, they’re stylish! Joshua Farnsworth officially started shooting weddings in 1998, but started Joshua Farnsworth Photography in 2001 while living in Utah (one of the nation’s largest wedding industries). Directions: Heading to Roanoke on I-81, get off at the I-581 Exit for Roanoke. Get off on the Electric Road (Hwy 419) Exit heading right (southwest). Turn left on Starkey Road. Turn right on Buck Mountain Road. Turn left on Merriman Road and look for number 6426. We’re in an old remodeled red brick schoolhouse! We can also meet at a park, a bookshop, your favorite café, or anywhere you like, to discuss your wedding plans.
