- Lost River Alpacas is a family owned business on one of the last pieces of agricultural property left in the City of Nooksack. On our farm reside 42 alpacas, south american camelids raised for their luxurious fiber. We provide tours and have a small store in which we stock products made from the fiber of the alpacas. Most popular of these are the alpaca socks. Tours are given to groups, families or individuals. Our normal hours are 1pm to 6pm, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. But we are almost always here, so give us a call and arrange for a tour now.
