Demarle is a company that has specialized in high quality bakeware for over 30 years, until recently these products were only available to professional chefs. Now, thanks to Demarle at Home these wonderful products are available to you, however you can only order them through representatives of the company such as myself.
The most commonly known product sold by Demarle, is the Silpat®. This nonstick, non permeable, flexible mat will bake up anything evenly, from cookies to parmesan crisps, especially when paired with the perforated baking sheet (pg.23), which turns any oven into a convectional oven! The Silpat® and perforated baking sheet come in three different sizes to fit your needs.
There are also many Flexipan Molds® and Flexipan Trays® that are made of the same food grade silicon and woven glass patent as the Silpat®. These molds are not just for baking cakes! The work horse of the Fleximold® is the Sponge Cake Mold (pg. 10), it takes place of your regular 13x9 baking pan. You can roast a whole chicken, steam veggies (with use of the octagonal silpat® (pg.23)), or just bake your favorite casserole! The Flexipan® Trays are perfect for making tartlets (pg.16), individual quiches and meatloaves, as well as baked pancakes, and much, much more.
Have you ever wondered why the bread at Subway® is so good? That outside is crispy and the inside is so soft. Well that’s because Subway® uses Demarle’s Silform® Molds and Trays. Now you can bake bread that will turn out the same exact way! The woven glass covered by silicon will give your bread the professional touch. (pg.19)
The little sister to the Silpat® is the Roul’Pat®. With this flexible rolling mat (pg.23) and the beechwood rolling pin (pg.44) you no longer have to worry about sticky pastry dough. The Roul’Pat® is also great for crafts, your beads won’t roll and hot glue amazingly peels right off!
Feel the difference, the Demarle Difference®. With our honed knives you will feel the difference in every cut, chop, or slice you make (pg.32). These knives are so great you only need three of them to do every job in the Kitchen. And, with our cookware you will see the difference when you heat up cream or milk; you will feel the difference when you touch the ergonomically designed handle that stays cool while cooking (pg. 35).
Also to go along with all these wonderful products are tools and accessories that compliment the rest of the Demarle family. The FKT® Tools are ergonomically designed that work with both lefties and righties (pg.41). Dough cutters and shapers (pg.43) are used for the mini tartlets, tartlets, and boat trays. The polyamide spatula (pg.44) is great for removing food from the Flexipans®, Silpat®, and Roul’Pat®, since you never want to cut on any of these. Speaking of cutting, to go along with the knives, the cutting board made of polyethylene is recommended to keep your knives at tip-top performance. And new to the collection is the magnetic trio (pg.45). With this set you will never have to dig for that missing spoon or cup!
I promise you that Demarle is not like anything you have ever cooked in. All Flexipans® and Silpats® are FDA and Kosher approved. All Flexipans® and Silpats® can be used in the oven, microwave and freezer. They cannot be used in toaster-ovens or go into the dishwasher. They should never be in the oven at temps higher than 470° or under the broiler. As stated before no knives allowed. Any cuts made on these will void all warranties.
