Math Monkey is an enrichment program in mathematics for children from Kindergarten to 8th grade. Our program is for children who are advanced as well as those that are struggling with math. If a child needs a push, we can help them. If a child is not beeing challenged at school, we can challenge them. Other learning centers help children with their homework, At Math Monkey we help them learn the concepts so they can do their homework on their own. Some other centers give the children worksheets and expect them to perform the problems on their own. At Math Monekey, we teach the children how to do the problems, then play games to reinforce what we learned. Anyone can get a worksheet off the net, teaching is what students should pay for. When you make learning fun, then kids want to learn, it is as simple as that.
At Math Monkey, we don't only make it fun, we also make it easy to understand math. Math is the most important subject anyone will ever learn. Without math, our world would not be what it is today. The US is lagging behind in math and science and we keep falling further, and further. If we don't do something about it, then where will we be in 10 years? Math Monkey wants to be a part of the solution for this problem. However, it is up to the individual to want to be a part of the solution, make a difference and be proud of the outcome.
