Doc of Rock has been doing business on the Downtown Square for more than 6 years. We are an ecclectic little store with something for everone. We carry a wide variety of incense including Nag Champa, as well as many other varieties from Satya (the makers of Nag Champa) like Sandalwood, Patchouli Forest, Celestial, Midnight and more. We also have one of the largest selections of body jewelry, at the best prices, in the area. Navel, tongue, CBB's, CBR's, gauges...we carry all of it. We do body piercing on the premises with licensed body piercers. Having more than 20 vendors for body jewelry allows us to offer highly competetive rates on our body piercings. We offer a safe, sterile environment which passes a vigorous health inspection for all of our piercings.
By far,our Smoke Shop is the most popular section in the store. We carry water pipes, hand pipes, vaporizers, hookahs, shisha, blunt wraps, rolling papers and more. In acrylic water pipes we have everything from 6 inches to 6 feet! We offer beautiful glass percalators made in California as well as a huge selection of locally made glass hand pipes. We consider locally made glass to be the best in the house and pride ourselves on having as much locally and made in the USA pipes as possible. We believe in our local economy and help to support whenever possible.
All merchandise, displays and sales aside our best feature is our "family". We consider our employees to be an extension of our family as well as our customers. We have seen alot of the same people day in and day out for 6 years...and we appreciate them every time they walk through our doors. We have seen some of our customers grow up...doing the final countdown to when they turn 18 and can finally go in the smoke shop. We have seen them get married and start families. We have seen them move away only to move back home within 6 months to a year. No matter what is going on, they always come in and keep us included in their lives. It's a really humbling thing to know that many of our customers come in when they are having a bad day just because it makes them feel better. Whether it's the smell of the incense, the music that's playing, an impulse purchase or the fact that everyone from the owner to the newest of employees all greet them when they come in...we are just glad that we have the opportunity to do so. We would never say that we are the best or that you should never go anywhere else. But we can honestly say that we come in here everyday looking forward to doing what we do best-provide great service to great people.
