The Allen House is a new Bed & Breakfast to the area. It is located in the Village of Allen and is located on the "Old Sauk Trail" (US12).
The home was built in 1874 by Bartholmew and Mary Strang. Bart was 73 years old and Mary was 24 the year that the home as built. Bart and Mary had 5 children. The home was sold at sheriff's auction in 1880 and Bart and Mary moved to Hillsdale,
Mi.
Allen is a know as the "Antique" capitol of Michigan and within a 30 miles stretch in "The Old Sauk Trail" there are over 400 antique dealers and malls.
Come and spend a couple of nights with us and then spend the days looking for antiques until your heart is content.
