- I've been playing guitar since I was 6 years old. My family members were all musical and I began teaching guitar when I was 16. I've been teaching for over 38yrs and there is nothing else I would rather do. I teach electric guitar, acoustic guitar and bass guitar. I teach all styles and levels of guitar (except classical), and most levels of bass guitar. Songs, theory, scales, technique, tab, reading, ear training, improvisation, lead riffs, chords, recording and performance are all covered, depending on the needs and the requests of the student. I use CD's and mp3's to help my students develop true musicianship. I also use my own 60 page textbook with 4 play along CD's. These CD's help my students to develop rhythm with chords and improvisation with lead scales. Ages 6 yrs old to over 60 years young are all welcomed. I teach every day except Friday.
