- 20 Oaks Cottages sits next to Lake Clearlake, one of the largest natural lakes in the western USA. Shoreline mileage is approximately 100 miles. Natural hot springs and fresh water continuously flow into the lake, greatly enhanced in recent years by the corp of engineers, resulting in a beautiful, pristine, natural habitat for fish, birds, repetiles, deer, quail, rabbits, etc. Wild turkeys will greet you each morning at your doorstep. The lake is rated #1 in the country for bass fishing! We currently offer 4 cottages, plus several vacation RV sites, in addition to direct lake access across the street! The new owners have painted and refurbished this diamond in the rough to make it one of the best bargains on the lake! Two sizes of cottages are offered: smaller cottages sleeps 2-3, and larger cottages sleeps 4-5+. We will be opening a 5th cottage soon which sleeps 6 or more. Large old oak trees cover the expansive property and provide shade year round. We are known for our large, open spaces, and cleanliness. Fish or swim off of our newly refurbished dock. Kim and Steve live onsite and are eager to accommodate all needs to make your stay the very best possible. Both are registered nurses who moved from the city to enjoy the health and beauty of lake living. This pet-friendly resort is home to two cute West Highland Terriers, Heidi and Daisy Belle - a mother and daughter team of endless smiles and happy faces!
