- Kohala Country Adventures Guesthouse opened for business in 2001 and from then has enjoyed the company of many fine people from around the world. We have three units ranging from $85.00 - $160.00. Our "Sundeck Suite" has a small kitchenette for those who wish to prepare their own meals from time to time. We are situated 1/4 mile above the original statue of King Kamehameha in the center of Kapaau Hawaii on 11 acres of serene Hawaiian real Estate. There are tennis courts, a small golf course and a swimming pool just 1/2 mile away and the beach is never far. We live on the property so we are always available to help you with information and service to make sure that your stay in Hawaii is a pleasant and revitalizing one. Many of our guests have become return visitors and friends. So please feel welcome to come see us for a base from which to explore this rich and interesting corner in the Hawaiian experience.
