Our plans are made to suit your needs. We have a Family Legal Plan for individuals and families that can also be offered at a discounted rate as a voluntary employee benefit, as well as a Small Business Legal Plan, a Commercial Truck Drivers Legal Plan and our Identity Theft Shield. You can say that we help you to protect yourself, your family, your business, your employees, your assets and your identity. For a monthly membership fee of between approx. $26. to $35. and with no annual committment, the "Family Legal Service Plan" offers members nationwide coverage for the following at no additional charge: Unlimited telephone consultations for personal or business matters, unlimited letters or phone calls, (one per situation), unlimited contract and document review (up to 10 pages in length), a Will, Living Will and Durable Power of Attorney or Health Care Directive, representation for moving traffic violations in or out of their State of residence, on or off the job (as long as they are properly licensed, vehicle is properly registered, no drugs or alcohol is involved and the vehicle is no more than two axles, representation in certain motor vehicle related criminal charges such as negligent homicide, vehicular homicide, trial defense if they are sued civilly or in a job related criminal charge beginning with 60 or 75 hours the first year and capping out at 300 or 335 hours in the fifth year depending on which plan is selected, IRS audit legal services, and 24 hour telephone access to legal representation in emergency situations. Anything else is covered under a preferred member discount (25% off of the normal hourly rate of the provider law firm or PPL referral attorney) Items such as: divorce, child costody, child support, immigration, bankruptcy, criminal charges, DUI, and even pre-existing conditions. (please note that some of these may vary due to regulatory requirements in your State, so contact us for State specific coverage). The Identity Theft Shield provides the primary member and their spouse or significant other a copy of their credit report which does NOT show up as an inquiry, an independent detailed analysis of their credit score, daily continuous credit monitoring and should they fall victim of identity theft, complete restoration. We are also Certified Identity Theft Risk Management Specialists and offer Identity Theft Training on a NO FEE BASIS to employee groups, businesses, organizations, associations, clubs, etc. The things that set us apart are the number of years in business, the fact that we are the only 35 year old, and only publicly traded company offering as a superios suite of products the legal service plans AND the identity theft protection. Legal services plans are offered through a "closed panel" system as oppossed to an "open panel" system. Closed panel is a carefully screened and selected provider law firm network that must have and maintain strict qualifications and customer service standards and a system in place by which PPLSI carefully monitors them.
