Js' Bistro, located in a renovated Old Town mercantile circa 1860, is like walking into a Spaghetti Western - with the best tastes of excellent, inexpensive Italian Dinners and Little Plates. Dinners at Js' are creative and fresh: a wide range of appetizers, delicious chicken entrees, steak & pasta, seasonal specialties, thin crust Tuscan pizzas and design-it-yourself pasta dishes. Walk in and you won't miss viewing Js' historic bar. It's back bar, commissioned in 1933 by Schlitz Brewing Co in Chicago, is solid Honduran Mahogany. Shipped in sections from Chicago, it has been lovingly restored by local craftsmen and retrofitted with state-of-the-art refrigeration and lighting. It is indeed the heart of the restaurant. Js' wine list includes a good selection of carefully chosen Italian and American wines to compliment tasty Bistro fare.
