Description:
The Center for Visual Artists (CVA) is a non-profit art school and gallery located in the Downtown Greensboro Cultural Center. The CVA is a comprehensive visual arts organization that provides art classes and exhibition opportunities for all artist ages 3 to adult.
Classes include an art-focused pre-school, Pint-Sized Picassos; an art-based ater-school program, Kidstudio; a Home-school program; thematic Summer Art Camps for ages 3-15; and an array of adult media specific classes. The CVA is constantly changing its programs to provide as many art enrichment opportunities for the local Triad community. Classes are taught by upcoming and working local artists and art educators. We provide a safe creative environment where anyone and everyone can practice their art and continue to grow as artists.
The CVA gallery provides a place for local artists to exhibit their work. Exhibition themes change every year and new shows displaying the local artists community rotate monthly. The gallery is admission free and welcomes all.
