Our Story Soon after graduating from Quinnipiac University as a full-ride scholarship athlete for the Men’s Soccer Program, Nicolae Popescu founded WeGotPlayers in 2008. The goal was to help players get exposed and play at the next level by providing a tool that will simplify the college recruiting and professional scouting process. The numerous expensive recruiting and professional scouting services have driven Nicolae to think of a better solution that would allow players build their own identity and get exposed to play at the next level.
