• The Virginia Marti College of Art and Design is a two-year college offering an Associate of Applied Business in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising, Interior Design, and Graphic Design, and An Asssociate of Applied Science in Digital Media. The Virginia Marti College of Art and Design's mission is to meet the needs of students and employers by offering educational programs in fields with dynamic growth potential. The college was established by Virginia Marti Veith in 1966 and it has been a landmark in the community for 41 years. Our students proudly participate in community projects like the Duct Tape Festival and The Go Red Campaign for Women. A recent graduate of the college designed the new logo for the Lakewood YMCA while he was still a student. He is now employed at Omni Media, Cleveland's only outdoor Kiosk. Our graduates are employed throughout the Cuyahoga County. In fact, through the years 2001-2006 the College received, from the State of Ohio, Workforce Vocational Grants totally,$222,696,000 for its outstanding job placement. This money was distributed back to the students to be used as they determined. We are proud of VMCAD and proud to be a part of Lakewood, Ohio. Continuing Education classes are now offerred at VMCAD.
