- Hello, I'm Merryll Jones owner of Jones Inspections LLC based in Sugar Land TX and I am a professional home inspector licensed by the State of Texas. I attended Champions School of Real Estate and in my 4th year of inspecting homes. My coverage includes Greater Houston Metro, Sugar Land, Katy The Woodlands, Kingwood, and surrounding areas. I am licensed by Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) and abide by the TREC Standards of Practice and strict Code of Ethics for Real Estate Inspectors. I have been inspecting homes for over 3 years and have in-depth experience with all types of inspections including new construction as well as older homes. I fulfill at least 16 hours of Continuing Education and inspection related training per year and stay up to date on current industry standards. I am committed to providing a quality home inspection and use the latest state of the art testing and measuring equipment. I will completely walk the roof to inspect the details of the shingles, flashings, and seals. I inspect the entire attic for areas of concern such as water leaks or structural deficiencies. I take time to ensure the foundation is properly and thoroughly inspected in its entirety.
