Description:
We opened our Center last March 2007. We are located in the former American Legion building. Since we started renovating the 125 year old building there has been a big change. We are operating a teen center but are available to rent for parties, meetings and reunions.
We have arcade games, pool tables, board games, computer games, cards, puzzles, books and crafts for all ages. We offer special events such as movie nights, easy bake oven day, pool tournaments, make your own pizza day, ceramic painting and crochet classes. We will soon offer a quilting class.
We are open everyday 4 to 7 except Monday and Wednesdays. Two Girl Scouts troops meet at the Center once a week and a teenage Sunday School meets every Sunday evening at 5 p.m.
Since we started renovating our building we have put in two new wheelchair accessible bathrooms, new furnace and central air,new plumbing through out plus new wiring. We have painted the kitchen after new drywall was added and we painted all the floors. The kitchen has a new gas stove. We installed a new hot water heater. All of this was done because of the generous donations of money and volunteers.
