- Hi its business owner Alex here saying hello and welcome to my HUMBLE MYOFASCIAL and PALLIATIVE CARE info page. Probodywork is my art and science, a clinical tool-kit designed to destroy stress and pain non-invasively. This is the Probodywork way. Some people do NOT like to be told what to do in their free-time. They abhor lifestyle prescriptions. They wish for a quick-fix, something that happens like a pill. Chronic pain does not respond like this. Many small adjustments and calibrations however do OFTEN shift the course of a disease progression. And pain is certainly in many chronic cases, a disease in and of itself. I work with medical and lay professionals seeking to relieve pain and manage stress and my specialty is MYOFASCIAL PAIN. I have been in the pain management business for twenty years as a CMT, Fitness Trainer, and Bodyworker. During this time I have studied THE most advanced manual therapies known to science. I have an above average success in releasing LONG-TERM/CHRONIC PAIN sufferers from the worst part of their agony. Is it luck or years of patient micro and macro observation of living anatomy's responses to minuscule adjustments to proprioceptors? This level of success is ONLY possible because I am not restricted IN ANY WAY in my understanding of the etiology of the nociceptive experience. If it makes sense, I will study and explore it. And eventually apply it in clinic. In no way will I ever say to you: "...oh well it is all in your mind. Just buck-up...." Pain is real! And deserves the utmost respect, diplomacy, and compassionate treatment. The causes of pain must be relieved, not talked away. If the treatment is to work, there will be action at a physical, mental, and chemical level. Not one remedy, but a congruent and targeted series of interventions on MANY levels. In my experience with thousands of patients over twenty years of clinical practice using nothing more than my understanding of anatomy and my hands, this approach works beautifully well.
