What is a Fiduciary?
Fiduciary Trustee: Named in a trust to carry out the terms of the trust as set forth in the trust document. A trustee is usually named by the creator of the trust, but in some cases, the trustee cannot carry out the duty and a new trustee can be named to carry out the terms of the trust. If there is no trustee named in the trust a court will appoint one. Our goal is to provide trust, honesty and integrity when appointed as trustee of a trust and following the wishes of the creator of the trust.
Probate and Estate: Named by the court to administer the estate of the person who has passed. As a Fiduciary, we are the personal representative of the estate and act as an Executor or an Administrator. The role of the Fiduciary is to inventory and safeguard the assets of the estate, collect income, verify and pay obligations, identifiy and notify heirs and beneficiaries and distribute assets.
