Fishermen's Inn provides lodging with meals and many recreation opportunities. We have a Cessna 185 float plane to fly in and fish bays, lakes and streams within 100 miles of Port Alexander, Alaska. We also have saltwater charter fishing and kayaks. Port Alexander is about sixty miles south of Sitka, Alaska. There are no roads to Port, Alexander and there are no cars. The only way to get to Port Alexander is by boat or seaplane. Kevin and Karen Mulligan are the owners of Fishermen's Inn in Port Alexander. Kevin and his brother Gary Hitch hiked to Alaska from Los Altos, California in 1972 when Kevin was fifteen. In 1974 Kevin homesteaded property in Port Alexander at seventeen. Kevin finished high school and went to college for two years in California before moving to Port Alexander to live in 1978. Karen came up to Alaska in 1982. Kevin and Karen married in 1985 and raised two sons. After 28 years of commercial fishing in Alaska Kevin and Karen built Fishermen's Inn.
