"The New Vibe of the South-side" The Original Texas Ice House, where the Beer is Iced never refrigerated. We have created a new concept to assist in rescuing The Ice Houses of the past. Once a social gathering place in rural locations throughout Texas, these iconic establishments have been closing all over either due to regulatory requirements, neglect or economic issues. We have created an environment that is relaxing, fun and filled with excitement. The most important aspect starts with your staff. We employ highly skilled Bartenders, with Customer Service backgrounds, not just Bartender experience. The environment is one that is clean, safe and comfortable. We offer over 42 types of beers; and a wine selection from only Texas Vineyards. We also carry and offer Cocktails made from wine based liquors. These Cocktails range from Pina Colada to Long Island Ice Tea. Our signature drink is refreshing and very tropical. The Breezelada. You have to taste it. We are located on the far south side of San Antonio, inside 1604 on Highway 181, 2.5 miles from IH 37 South. We recently re-opened our Kitchen and offer over 22 menu items designed and prepared by our resident Chef. Items range from typical bar food to a more robust 12oz Ribeye Steak Dinner with 3 sides for $15.00. Lunch and Dinner hours are currently being designed to offer the best for local customers. To go orders are also welcomed. Weekly entertainment includes Karaoke, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday until 1:00am. We are actively participating in both Dart and Pool Leagues hosting 4 teams for Pool and 2 Darts. Plans are in the works to create and outside Band Pavilion and seating area where customers can enjoy music and entertainment outside. This will be accomplished by the end of 2015.
