    Soiled clothes and linens shall be stored in non-absorbent containers or washable laundry bags until removed for laundering.

Note.  Establishment has construced a wall and door to separate laundry facilities from food preparation/stock area.  Laundry services may resume.  Please note that a food and drink permit will not be issued for this establishment in 2014 if the required ceiling is not in place to provide protection by the expiration date of current permit.

    Kiosk currently does not have a ceiling.  A ceiling is required over this establishment to provide protection from potential contamination.  Food preparation areas are exposed to open upper level.  Plans were submitted and establishment was to have awning/ceiling in place within 30 days of opening.

This facility has been given final approval to operate under the guidelines of Chapter 10, Food Safety, of the Peoria County Code.

This facility must follow the temporary written procedures for food protection until such time that the permenent structure is in place.

Please call 679-6161 when the structure is in place.

The washer and dryer has been embargoed until an inspection is conducted to confirm that walls and doors are in place seperating it from the food prep area.
  • Food protection during storage, prepartion, display, service, transportation
    Food and surfaces not protected from contamination.  Left side of kiosk is exposed to debris falling from upstairs level.
    Please follow the temporary written procedures until such time that a permanent "roof" structure is put into place.
  • Complete separation from living/sleeping area, laundry
    Washer/dryer unit located in prep area/ware washing room.
    Separate rooms shall be provided for laundry facilities except that such operations may be conducted in storage rooms containing only packaged food/single-service articles.
    The approved plans show the washer and dryer in a seperate room.  The washer and dryer must be removed or a room must be built around it.
    The washer and dryer may not be used until such time that a recheck will be conducted.
