This will be long because I think it needs to be said: I want to give a personal shout out to Lindsey, who delivered my packages to my door on 8/22/22. As I told her, we forget the sacrifices each driver has to make every day— not only professionally, but personally, to do their job. I’m sure they are out more times than not, after hours to meet the required deliveries they promise. Thank you Lindsey for such great personal care and a huge smile you offered. Your gentle humility touched me.

In Tennessee, usually our weather is one extreme or the other; either too hot or too cold. I ask anyone who reads this to please remember before complaining how you would do if you had to do their job under the rules and regulations they have to apply. I am so thankful they are willing to deliver instead of my going to a location to pick up my orders. I remember those days and it wasn’t fun, living in such a rural area as I am and a good 25 min. from the nearest town. Door to door delivery is awesome!!

Lindsey and any UPS employee deserves to be acknowledged and sincerely thanked for the job they do.

I did have one pkg. that stated it was coming from Amazon and was worried I’d ordered something while half asleep and forgotten. After a frantic call to Amazon and assured I’d not ordered anything I waited to see what came. It was actually an order from eBay and can understand how someone would put it in the computer erroneously. We all make mistakes and I know only an inkling not pressure these employees deal with every day. So many are short staffed—
1. Because no one wants to work as hard as these employees must do
2. The fear of Covid is still on many people’s minds to prefer working at home
3. With the above mentioned, it might present delays before getting a pkg. one ordered.
Usually a company has more than one way to reach them; email, chat online or phone calls. If not to that specific store than call the corporate office. They truly want to help. Remember if it was your job, the understanding you would want to receive from your customers. They do the driving to deliver only. To blame them for anything beyond their control doesn’t serve anyone.

Let’s be kind to one another and encourage instead of tear down and cuss out over something that most of the time won’t be life or death. To Bible readers look up James 3:17,18. Remember the Golden Rule; let’s change a bad day that driver my have had to a good one by thanking them for their service. Then call or do a google review to put in a good word for them. We have the power to change one person at a time. Or a company to change if there’s a problem—to report in kindness, not viciously and full of anger. Do we believe they really do things purposely to get things wrong? Of course not! It’s embarrassing and is time consuming to have to correct errors. Please: BE KIND.

BTW: I am not or have ever been a delivery driver. Don’t have anyone I know who is one. I am a 58 disabled person and can only be grateful for the delivery service that brings my pkgs. to my front door. Rain or shine. Snow or sleet.
