McDonald's locations in Springfield, IL

By far the rudest and most unorganized service I've ever received

My family and I visited McDonald's on a Saturday late afternoon. We live on the North side of Springfield but traveled to the West end due to my 2 children wanting to play. When arriving at the store there were no customers waiting in line and we were immediately assisted. While my boyfriend waited for our food I took our 2 children in the play house where there were 3 families in there. The rest of the tables were disgusting and there was a worker mopping the floor. In the middle of mopping the manager came in a rudely said to the gentleman, "When your done with that I need more boy toys from the shed". The man did not hear the woman and asked her what she said, she repeated herself even more hateful than the first time and in front of all of us sitting in the play area. My boyfriend walks in and I said lets go sit in the main area and just come back in here to play due to the dirtiness of the area. The main area was just as nasty and there were 3 women sitting in there each at a table by themselves on their laptops. There was water standing in the bathroom floor of the handicap stall. My boyfriend ordered a big mac and there was definitely more bread than meat on that sandwich. With this being the only McDonald's in Springfield with a play house I find it a bit ridiculous it is not kept clean. This is NOT the first time I have had this problem at this exact location but keep trying again because the children like it. Had the place been busier I would have understood, but the manager who was just standing behind the counter could have came out and wiped down some tables or if she felt to good to wipe tables maybe she could of went and got boy toys, took over the drive through or front register allowing one of the other workers to take care of the eating area.
