I am really pleased to see this newly renovated store back in business. I am hopeful, however, the owners recognize an opportunity to improve and the employees receive additional training in customer service.
I found the food very good but was surprised there was no "Grilled" offered. The price was little high but the large portions were more than adequate and much better than any of the competition.
I did note there is a need to improve the packaging. The car in front of me was handed a single paper bag through the window that was so full stuff kept toppling out of it. It took longer for the car to leave the window than it would have to just take some of the stuff out and put it in a second bag.
When my order (Two regular thighs, single serving of mashed potatoes and one large container of coleslaw) was packaged, it was packaged to make a mess. The chicken was put in the bottom of the paper bag sideways so some of the openings in the container were on the bottom of the bag. Oil leaked out of the chicken container. The Cole Slaw was overfull and the dressing leaked out of the top of the container and down the sides to the bottom of the bag. Both made a mess on my car seats. I realize this store is newly opened and I hope, with experience and training, the workers will get better. I just hope someone will cares enough to train them in a positive manner. The young woman who helped me was very receptive to my suggestion that the person's order in front of me should have been packaged differently. Unfortunately, she did not even see that the woman was still blocking the driveway when I was ready to leave as she tried to rearrange her bag of food. I will go back to this restaurant again and am hoping to see a positive change.
