I don't know where to begin, or how to keep this review from turning into a book.
I have been with Cricket since 2010 and my very first phone with them I could not make a call out of my home, and I live across and down the street from four cricket stores. I could not afford anything more than this service so I had to work it out them to fix it.
I have never been able to go with in a few blocks North or East, and into most of South without losing service and getting 1g on a 5g unlimited.
Again, though I love the freedom of not being bound to any contracts, yet I am on the basis of what my income will allow for me to afford, so I live with it. I'm on my second new phone in one years time because of the first one having two pages worth of all that was wrong with it listed, just to get another phone that does half of the same stuff the first two days of having it.
When I have troubles with my account, like this last one I am in the middle of right now, I get no one understanding nor caring enough to work it out with me. I had been on lifeline support to lower the cost of my bill for the past two years and because I had not received forms for renewal this year to keep this service on going for me I missed my deadline to keep it going, so now I need to reapply but when calling my closest office I pay my bill at, they said they no longer offer that service, but after that I called the corporate office and they do but I needed to come in, I had been sick home with the shingles and knew my bill was due soon but couldn't come in to apply soon enough so I wouldn't have to pay the extra that I need for other things right now. I am on a fixed income and a single mother, so I live as carefully and figural as I possibly can.
So stuck at home concerned about all this, I went straight to the lifeline site and contacted their support staff and pleaded for their help. I received a reply with in two days at the most and the lady (Assistant Program Analyst of Lifeline ) whom I'm speaking with has been understanding and trying to help me with this issue, she's had cricket corporates all over, even outside AZ contact me to help me, but after calling 12 times, ( no joke ),to only finally reach someone who was not understanding nor helpful! I am exhausted and at the my end of myself with this, and seriously looking into there possibly being a better deal out there, or at least one within the same pricing I am at right now, that would treat their customers with the attitude of gratitude and care to help them, for having been a loyal customer of theirs and not wanting to lose them! This is SO important to me that this is all it would take to keep me even after all this.
